Articles should prioritize applied insight over theory and offer clear takeaways coaches can use immediately.
Guidelines
- Submit article proposals or full drafts via our submission form as Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) documents only. At this time, we cannot accept other file formats.
- Please give your article a clear, descriptive title that reflects its content. Vitruve reserves the right to edit titles for clarity, formatting, and SEO purposes.
- Any charts, tables, or images should be embedded in the Word document where they are intended to appear. If accepted, images must also be provided as .JPG or .PNG files. You must own the rights to or have personally created all submitted images. If no images are provided, Vitruve may supply visuals from our internal library.
- Video guidelines (optional): Minimum resolution: 720p, horizontal format only. No promotional or advertising content. Insert video links directly in the document where they should appear.
- You will receive confirmation of receipt within 7-14 days. Accepted articles may take up to 4-8 weeks to be published depending on editorial scheduling.
Content
- Typical articles range from 1,000-2,000 words
- Shorter or longer submissions may be considered based on quality
- Grammar, spelling, and clarity will be refined by the Vitruve editorial team
- Promotional, sales-focused, or overly self-serving content is not accepted
All submissions must be:
- Original
- Previously unpublished
- Written by the submitting author
AI-generated content is not accepted.
- All formatting will be stripped during publishing
- Avoid headers, footers, special characters, or decorative formatting
- Use clear section headings and a strong conclusion
- If citing research, statistics, or quotes, include proper references or hyperlinks
- References may be listed at the end of the document if needed
Rights & Usage
Vitruve retains exclusive publishing rights to all accepted articles.
Published content may not be republished, duplicated, or redistributed elsewhere without written permission from Vitruve.
By submitting an article, you confirm you have the rights to all written and visual content provided and grant Vitruve the right to edit, publish, and distribute the work across its platforms.
Compensation
- The compensation for published articles is seven cents a word
- Payment is issued after final approval and publication
- Compensation is based on article depth, clarity, and value to coaches
- Opportunities for repeat contributors and premium projects may be offered
- Payments are issued via PayPal.
